Happy Hump Day: Let’s talk power couples!7
So for Hump Day, I wanted to talk about power couples. You know what I mean. There’s a couple that comes together (erm, so to speak) and people feel that they could run the world. Couples like Brad & Angelina, Jay-Z and Beyonce; these are couples that society feels basically could own everything else if they wanted to. Now as a gag I put up two choices on the Twitter and Facebook accts. The twitter account suggested Carrot Top and his hair (although I don’t think he’ll get many votes) and then on the Facebook page, there’s Marge & Homer Simpson, who seem to already be the runaway favorite.
(Then again, am I wrong in thinking that Homer did score him a babe!? After all, she did manage to grace the pages of Playboy Magazine!)
A co-worker here at the office suggested I put Al & Peggy Bundy, but let’s see how many of you remember who THEY are! =) But feel free to comment here, on Twitter or Facebook and let me know today who you consider a power couple. Doesn’t have to be present-day it could be any real (read: non-fictional) couple and they don’t have to still be together as of this day.
