My secret brand of Follow Friday1

For those of you who follow us on Twitter (well, me) you may notice that we don’t do the traditional Follow Friday. Many of my favorite peeps participate in a weekly event by which people share some of the other great individuals, companies, brands, etc that they are following on Twitter.

Because I like being unique (you know, against the grain), I decided to not only make my Follow Friday happen every day, but I do it in a segment called “End of Day”. Based upon the conversations that I had with followers that given day, I create an End of Day To-Do List. Of course End of Day To-Do List is too long to put into a tweet to make the rest of it meaningful, so I just simply say “End of Day”.

You know how you have these things to do before you reach home: grocery shop, pay some bills, pick up dry cleaning? That’s the concept behind End of Day. Things that I would do (to or with followers) before I reach the front door of my house.

These have been a lot more fun to do: They’re very personable, relevant and directly show followers that they did have a positive impact on my day. Plus it makes for a nice daily brain exercise.

So chat with me everyday on Twitter and see if you make it into the End of Day task list. There are no limits to how many times you appear there, but I would like to get as many followers on the list as possible.

Happy Tweeting!

Get an early jump on Valentine’s Day0

Oh... mommyI know, I know. We all do last-minute shopping for events like Valentine’s Day. We’re then thrust into the game of high prices, pushing, shoving and loud words. Frankly, we should leave the push, shove and word play to the bedroom.

So check it out. We’ve already put up a simple Valentine’s Day gift guide that highlights some great items for you, your partner or things you can share together. Even if you’re showing yourself some love this year, there are great items that you can use for yourself.

Plus, all of the items in the gift guide come with a 15% off discount (right off the sale price) if you use coupon code: LOVE15 at checkout. It’s our way of showing some appreciation towards you this year, since we love you dearly.

Video Feature: The Snake Bite Suckers2

If it’s one thing we enjoy at Healthy and Active is making sure that our customers are confident in the decisions that they make in their purchases. One of the ways to do this is to showcase videos that help show the sexual benefit of using the various products we sell in our store.

This particular video is hosted by Miss Trisha Uptown. She discusses her personal opinion on the Snake Bite Suckers. Try not to drool (too much) as she talks (of course, if you do we can’t blame you).
