My secret brand of Follow Friday1
For those of you who follow us on Twitter (well, me) you may notice that we don’t do the traditional Follow Friday. Many of my favorite peeps participate in a weekly event by which people share some of the other great individuals, companies, brands, etc that they are following on Twitter.
Because I like being unique (you know, against the grain), I decided to not only make my Follow Friday happen every day, but I do it in a segment called “End of Day”. Based upon the conversations that I had with followers that given day, I create an End of Day To-Do List. Of course End of Day To-Do List is too long to put into a tweet to make the rest of it meaningful, so I just simply say “End of Day”.
You know how you have these things to do before you reach home: grocery shop, pay some bills, pick up dry cleaning? That’s the concept behind End of Day. Things that I would do (to or with followers) before I reach the front door of my house.
These have been a lot more fun to do: They’re very personable, relevant and directly show followers that they did have a positive impact on my day. Plus it makes for a nice daily brain exercise.
So chat with me everyday on Twitter and see if you make it into the End of Day task list. There are no limits to how many times you appear there, but I would like to get as many followers on the list as possible.
Happy Tweeting!
